Congratulations on taking the first
step toward restoring balance and wholeness in your life. At some
point almost everyone will experience
some form of psychological or emotional difficulty, loss, stress,
relationship issue, or conflict in their lives. These experiences
can leave you feeling lost and overwhelmed - or even just confused
and searching for answers.
It is at these times that you need a safe
place and a knowledgeable supportive person to guide you to where
the answers lie, most often within your own core wisdom. This is
the work I do with the people who come to me for help. Together
we sort through the emotions, the thoughts and the patterns that
may have developed over time in response to pain. We look at changes
that might need to be made to lead to a healthy, happy way of being
and responding.
My whole-person approach to counselling
draws on over 20 years of counselling experience in all areas of
people's personal and work lives. This often includes such components
as sense of worth, beliefs, emotional awareness, coping, problem
solving, creativity, self care, and the capacity to deal with life's
inevitable challenges.
